Canoe Paddle Bench
Canoe paddle bench on a reclaimed wood frame, perfect for your lake house or as a present for a boat enthusiast. This is a made-to-order listing for a bench that looks similar but not identical to the benches in the pictures. Specify the colors you would like on the paddles and oars. They can be painted or left with natural wood tones. The frames are made with reclaimed and salvaged wood that is gathered near our shop in northwest Arkansas. The look is eclectic and rustic while also being refined with fine-sanding and attention to details. You will love relaxing on your canoe paddle bench from Woodzy!
Dimensions: 49" Wide x 27" Deep x 34-44" tall, approximately 95-115 lbs. Our standard finish is a rubbed linseed oil and turpentine mixture, which protects the wood well on a covered porch or indoor location. Ask for custom exterior finish if you so desire, which we will apply for an additional fee of $25 per bench. Note that the bench in the last two photographs is extra-long; we can make yours longer for an additional $100. Additional costs for shipping may also apply and would be assessed at the time of purchase.
**Note** The size and weight of this item require shipment via motor freight. It will be secured to a pallet and protected with padding. Delivery includes front-door residential service by appointment.
Our standard finish is a blend of satin polyurethane, boiled linseed oil, and pure gum turpentine, which is rubbed into the wood. This finish penetrates the wood and has a natural, touchable feel.
If you are purchasing furniture for an outdoor location, please specify at checkout that you wish to have exterior finish applied. We use Olympic Maximum, a clear sealing product that has a three-year warranty. (https://www.olympic.com/products/us/exterior-stains/olympic-maximum-waterproofing-sealant-clear)
We do not recommend placing furniture outdoors in a completely uncovered location. If you choose to do so, your furniture will weather more quickly and may require more frequent applications of sealant to maintain a fresh finish.
When used outdoors under cover, the furniture should be resealed at least once every three years with a clear exterior wood sealer and should be stored indoors during the winter months, if possible. The sealant may be sprayed or brushed on.
