Rustic coffee table with a barn wood top and log frame. This gorgeous wood has a lot of color variation and rustic character like nail holes and knot holes. It's been sanded extremely smooth to make it functional and refined. The base is made with Dogwood logs that were gathered from an area of the forest that is slated to have a controlled burn soon. We leave them with their natural shapes and contours. This is a lovely and functional piece that will bring the natural world into your living space!

ABOUT MADE-TO-ORDER TABLES
You are purchasing a made-to-order table. Orders are typically completed within four to eight weeks. We will contact you and keep you abreast of our progress.
The tabletop boards are made from reclaimed barnwood. Sometimes we have oak and sometimes pine, and there is a slight variation in color between the two. Please specify at purchase if you have a preference.
Our standard finish is a blend of satin polyurethane, boiled linseed oil, and pure gum turpentine, which is rubbed into the wood. This finish penetrates the wood and has a natural, touchable feel.
If you are purchasing furniture for an outdoor location, please specify at checkout that you wish to have exterior finish applied. We use Olympic Maximum, a clear sealing product that has a three-year warranty. (https://www.olympic.com/products/us/exterior-stains/olympic-maximum-waterproofing-sealant-clear)
We do not recommend placing furniture outdoors in a completely uncovered location. If you choose to do so, your furniture will weather more quickly and may require more frequent applications of sealant to maintain a fresh finish.
When used outdoors under cover, the furniture should be resealed at least once every three years with a clear exterior wood sealer and should be stored indoors during the winter months, if possible. The sealant may be sprayed or brushed on.
Please contact us with any questions regarding our woods and finishes, or outdoor use and maintenance.
