Can you believe this is made entirely with discarded materials? Woodzy specializes in salvaging wood that would otherwise be destroyed, so no trees are harmed in the making of our furniture.
This month, we're giving away this lovely side table. On February 6, we will randomly select a member of our newsletter to be the winner. It could be YOU!

The tabletop is made from a slab of oak from a tree we rescued from some firewood; it had fallen down during a storm last year. It was a large log, so we will be making more cool, slab pieces with it soon. The wood is dense and heavy, with gorgeous character marks and coloration. The legs and braces were gathered from a pile of discarded wood. There is Sycamore, Dogwood, and Red Cedar in the piece (check out a previous blog post to see the pile they came from). We sand the branches smooth so the piece is refined as well as rustic and natural.
